Member at Large – Linda Stromberg

Linda had a successful career in graphic arts and direct marketing before retiring in 2000 and moving to Surrey to raise her children. A strong advocate for youth, with a passion for education and community building, she home schooled her children until they reached the age of 13. When her daughter entered public school she recognized the shortfall in capital funding and formed a city wide committee bringing together stakeholder groups to coordinate and focus efforts advocating for increased funding from the Province.

She served 4 years on the Surrey Libraries Board, 3 of those years as Board Chair and is currently on the board of SurreyCares Community Foundation.

Linda works with businesses developing both business and strategic plans, and providing communications, marketing and project management services.
