Treasurer - Kate Duggan
Kate is a creative communications and event production specialist with a passion for building healthy and inclusive communities.
Beginning her career in Toronto working for a national telecommunications company, she received special recognition by helping her team to become the first in Canada to offer customer and technical support through social media channels. Since relocating to Vancouver in 2013, she has become increasingly interested in advocating for women’s rights and education, and this has led to her current position as the Membership Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator for The University Women’s Club of Vancouver at Hycroft - one of the oldest women’s organizations in Canada.
Kate holds a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Arts and Business with a specialization in Speech Communication from The University of Waterloo. An enthusiastic supporter of the Hot Pink Paper Campaign, Kate is excited to contribute her varied skill set to the WTC Board and committed to helping build cities and neighbourhoods that work for all people.
