A workshop to learn more about the local government election cycle

Local government makes decisions that impact our lives every single day. From how we move around the city to the services we access, who we elect affects how we experience where we live. Let's dive into how decisions get made at the local level and why it’s so important to engage in the 2026 election cycle.

Key learnings:

  • How decisions are made at the local level and the opportunities to influence those decisions

  • Strategies to analyze candidate platforms to help you vote for values-aligned candidates

  • Voter eligibility and key election dates to keep in mind

  • Creating a voting plan
