For our January meeting, we will be reading Sara Ahmed’s The Feminist Killjoy Handbook:

Presenting sharp analysis of literature, film, and influential feminist works, and drawing on her own experiences as a queer feminist scholar-activist of color, Ahmed reveals the invaluable lessons of the feminist killjoy, from the importance of asking questions to the power of the eye roll.

This year, Book Club will meet in-person in Vancouver six times over the year to build community and shared learning. If you are a member of book club, you should have received the schedule and reading list. We still have some spots open so if you can commit to attending all the in-person sessions, we encourage you to fill out the interest form!
