Pathways to a Women-Friendly Surrey: Action on Systemic Barriers to Women's Participation in Local Government

WTC and the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women (CRIAW) collaborated with SFU’s Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies department to organize and co-host a forum and brought together women candidates/office holders to discuss pathways to candidacy and explore what the City of Surrey could do to ensure greater participation of diverse women in civic and political life.
