WTC hosts a Community Engagement Session for BC's Anti-Racism Legislation

September 2023

WTC held a community engagement session to help shape BC's anti-racism legislation. Colonial governments have structures, laws, and policies that are rooted in discriminatory and problematic beliefs. No laws are race-neutral; they are either racist or anti-racist. Anti-racism legislation is an opportunity for the Government of BC to move toward eradicating systemic racism. Anti-racism is a core pillar of WTC’s advocacy work. We are grateful to have this opportunity to ensure our community’s voices are being heard in this essential engagement that will inform legislation development.
