We shared our stance that we do not agree with this decision. Cutting the only office with a focused mandate to address discrimination and harassment in the city’s operations sends the wrong message amidst rising transphobia, anti-Indigenous racism, and ableism that affects both city staff and residents’ ability to have a decent quality of life in Vancouver.
