WTC speaks to city council in favour of increasing drop-in shelters and public washrooms

WTC’s Education Manager, Monique, spoke at a city hall meeting in favour of the “Places to Be and Places to Go” motion put forward by councillor Pete Fry to increase daytime drop-in shelter spaces and build more public washrooms. WTC members also sent letters to city council.

We’re pleased to see council follow through on the commitment they made through our Hot Pink Paper Campaign to increase access to public washrooms!
