Makeda is an organizational development professional and change agent with a mission to help organizations perform better through people. With this mission, she helps individuals and organizations gain clarity about who they are, where they want to go, and how to get there. Makeda has worked with many mission-driven organizations to co-create effective structures, systems, programs, and cultures.

Makeda started this journey with a bachelor’s in psychology and management studies leading her into the world of market research. Driven by a desire to make a larger impact, she pursued a master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, became a certified Change Management Practitioner, and a certified Diamond Power Index coach. Her masters thesis focused on psychological safety and employee engagement across the public and private sector.

Born and raised in Jamaica, Makeda finds joy in connecting with lakes, rivers, and beaches. When she isn't outside, she is caring for her cats, plants, or cozied up reading a book.
