The year 2020 is a pivotal year for advancing gender equality worldwide! The theme for International Women’s Day (8 March) 2020 is, I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights. International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
